The author, JODY A. DEAN, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist with 28 years experience specializing in children, adolescents, and athletes. Her medical affiliations include Senior Clinical Account Executive, United Healthcare and Aetna; Director, Employee Assistance Program at Hughes Electronics and DirecTV; and work for a number of other corporations. Jody has authored numerous magazine and professional journal articles and currently writes specialized children’s books about childhood problems. She continues to professionally consult from her home in Tennessee, where she lives with her three dogs, including Roxie the Doxie.

RONALDO FLORENDO

Artist RONALDO FLORENDO, who illustrated Roxie the Doxie The New Dog At School, was born in Manila and graduated from the College of Architecture and Fine Arts, University of Santo Tomas. After school, he went on to work on different fields like Animation, Advertising and Industrial Design.

He started doing illustrations for Children’s Books in 2008 as a part-timer serving his first Author from Australia. This opened many doors to do more books consistently.

At present, he’s doing full-time illustration work in his home studio. He enjoys travelling with his family and going to the beach getting sunburned.


SUSIE LEE JIN

Illustrator SUSIE LEE JIN, who created the art for Roxie the Doxie Finds Her Forever Home, has degrees from Duke University in education and the MFA Illustration Program at the School of Visual Arts, New York City. She grew up in North Carolina and now creates her art in northern New Jersey where she lives with her family and pets.
